Als zodanig zullen tot de werkzaamheden van de werknemer behoren onder andere, maar niet uitsluitend:
Strategic Project Management
: Partner with the CEO, LT and MT to steer and execute strategic initiatives. Develop project blueprints, establish key milestones, and ensure prompt completion of tasks. Coordinate cross-functional teams, streamline communication, and track progress to achieve project objectives.
Decision Support
: Provide valuable insights, analysis, and recommendations to assist the CEO, LT and MT in making informed decisions. Conduct research, gather data, and perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to support strategic initiatives. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Operational Efficiency
: Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and introduce best practices. Simplify workflows, create and implement standardized procedures, and pinpoint areas ripe for automation and improvement. Promote efficiency throughout the organization to bolster productivity and effectiveness.
Executive Liaison
: Serve as a key point of contact and liaison between the CEO, LT and internal stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor, managing communications, and ensuring timely followup on action items. Build strong relationships with internal teams to foster collaboration and facilitate cross-functional alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
: Work closely with various teams within the organization to drive alignment and execution of strategic initiatives. Collaborate within the MT and across teams to ensure coordinated efforts and achieve business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
Workforce
: The CoS is expected to stay up-to-date on all workforce matters that include employee progress, individual skills and training, identifies gaps in skills/expertise and finds and proposes solutions. The CoS leads by example maintaining a spirit of continuous learning and training for work related expertise and skills. The CoS is also the daily advocate of the company culture and mindset towards the workforce.
Supports With Administrative Tasks
: The CoS assumes managerial and administrative responsibilities and uses staff resources effectively and efficiently to ease the administrative burden on the CEO and LT.
Closes Communication Gaps
: Gaps in communication can affect the productivity and efficiency of a project, so Chiefs of Staff play an important role in identifying and closing these gaps. This may be done by assigning employees to fill communication gaps where further guidance or explanation is needed and streamlining how information is shared between departments via specialized communication tools and software.
Assists With the Hiring Process
: The CoS assists with the hiring process. This is done in partnership with the LT and designated HR personnel and may include anything from screening candidates before an interview to outlining the hiring process and even drafting job descriptions.”
“2.1 De werknemer treedt in dienst in de functie van Chief Digital Officer. De Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is binnen [werkgever] onderdeel van het Leadership Team (LT) en rapporteert aan de CEO en het LT.
De algemene verantwoordelijkheid van een CDO bestaat erin een gedeelde visie binnen het LT voor een digitale toekomst te stimuleren en om groei, strategische, tactische en operationele digitale vernieuwing aan te sporen door de traditionele activiteiten van een organisatie om te vormen tot toekomstbestendige en waardevolle digitale activiteiten. De CDO legt bijzondere nadruk op het creëren van nieuwe waarde door het ontwikkelen en slim gebruik te maken van digitale tools, platforms, technologieën, diensten en processen.
